In my mind I see a watch with an over-sized face (I’m thinking a man’s watch), it is all back with a plain leather band. Any metal parts on the watch are also black, or maybe sliver. The face is just large enough to cover the top of my forearm, but not so big that it hangs off the sides. It is a dress watch, but casual enough to wear with shorts and a tee.
I am doomed by my imagination. I create items in my mind that I want, and then when I can’t find them, I get frustrated. I ONLY want what I have dreamed up knowing full well that it doesn’t exist. There are times when I find something close enough to satisfy my needs, but more often than not, I am left feeling empty.
The large-faced, dress watch is my new obsession at the moment, but I am only willing to spend so much on it. I have searched some of my favorite sites including Fossil, Amazon and Smart Bargains, but no luck. I have found a few on the Fossil site (one is pictured here, so you get an idea of what I want) that have come close, but not close enough.
The search goes on. I will keep you posted on my hunt.
